This is the car that's running in the "VW Racing" series, at the moment. You might be interested:

Engine: Front, transversely mounted 1896cc diesel. Four cylinder 8 valve, turbocharged, direct injection. Volkswagen Racing ‘Cup’ Turbo

Engine management: Bosch EMS with Superchips mapping

Max power (PS @ rpm): 210 / 4000

Max torque (lbs ft @ rpm): 280 / 1750

Drive: Front wheel drive

Gearbox: 5 Speed, limited slip differential

Clutch: Sachs sintered metal plate

Exhaust: Bespoke high flow system

Bodyshell: Full competition shell with welded in multi-point roll cage, Volkswagen Racing aero kit

Safety: Sabelt seat, built in fire extinguisher system, 6-point safety harness

Steering: Power assisted (hydraulic) rack and pinion

Brakes: Volkswagen Racing drilled front discs and callipers. Standard Volkswagen solid rear discs. Adjustable bias. Mintex racing pads front & rear

Front suspension: KW Fully Adjustable struts with lower wishbone and anti-roll bar. Solid top mounts with camber adjustment. Uprated bushes.

Rear suspension: Rear semi-trailing arm with uprated bushes, Adjustable KW dampers

Wheels: 7x17" light alloy race wheels

Tyres: 215/40 ZR 17

Nice.

This car has got some serious anti-roll bars :-)

No wheel movement whatsoever.

Damn I would like the Polo to have a bigger engine.

Now I'm absolutely positive - I'm satin blacking my newly aquired BBS Split rim GTi Alloys :lol:
