That is the easy bit. What confused people was that when someone says I have a 1.4SE 75BHP, then people say well Mine has a fading interior light, some don't, some have heated this and that, some don't, some have drums, some don't. But we assumed that they wre all the same, apparently they are not.

The only thing that remains the same is the redline. So just check where you redline and that'll tell you which one you have.

All this confusion over the specs of everyone's 6n2s... and we haven't even gotten started on the multitude of oddly-specced GTis yet... :roll:

GTi's can have different coloured HT leads, seatbelts, trim, leccy gadgets and so on - good old VW strike again!

Then take into account the optional extras such as leather, winter pack, sat-nav... :?

I think they get into work in the morning and do what they feel like.

Mind you, I have built a couple of products recently, and even when you try to get a mass production going, each one still ends up a little different, use different screws, different colors. I suppose its the same.

IV BEEN TRYIN TO FIND A 1.4 16V VERSION (100BHP) BUT IT SEMS NO-ONE IS SELLIN ONE. FOUND ABOUT 3 SO FAR IN THE UK!!!
