Replacing steering wheel - plug and play(ride)?

Post by maxym »

Hi. I own Polo 6R from 2009. Highline version with factory installed MFSW just like the one on this picture. I'm thinking about replacing it with the one from Golf VI R20 or GTI. Will any of them fit into my car without any further modifications(replacing BCM etc)?

Both will fit without replacing the BCM.

For everything to work properly you need an IC with MFD+ (take a look in the forum sales section) and the wiper stalks without trip computer buttons.

Thanks for reply :)
Can I use mentioned MFSW with standard stalks? Or it will cause errors? I have in plans also retrofiting CC so i will change the stalks later on :)
