Polo 6R MFSW problem: right buttons not working!

Hi everybody,
I've just helped a friend installing a MFSW on his Polo 6R ComfortLine MY2010, but there is a very strange problem.
Left (Radio) buttons work perfectly.
Right (MFA) buttons don't work.
We checked many times all connections and BCM coding with VCDS: all is correct.
We swapped the steering column combi switch, installing the one with right MFA buttons and they work. Then we reinstalled the one without right buttons, to avoid any conflict with the right buttons on the steering wheel.
We also tried this MFSW on another Polo 6R and ALL the buttons work perfectly, so it seems to be a problem related to my friend's specific car.

Yes, I know that the buttons to move on the left and on the right don't work, if you don't have MFA+, but in this case even up, down and center buttons aren't working.

83 = DSG, automatic gearbox.
82 = non-DSG

I forgot to say that the MFSW I installed on my friend's Polo 6R has the gear selectors for the DSG gearbox, even if his Polo has a manual gearbox.
But, although this detail, we tested this MFSW on another Polo 6R with manual gearbox and ALL the buttons perfectly work. [emoji848] So, I can't really understand why it's not working in this case.
Tonight I'll try the modified coding you suggested and I'll let you know.

Hi ciclo, I tried to modify the coding as you suggested, but it's rejected.
I also made another try: I tried using another buttons control (5K0 959 542 A, E221, H09 0013: the same as yours), but right buttons don't work anyway.

I honestly don't know what else I can do. This is a mistery of this specific car. [emoji26]

No, that's not a stupid question, Ciclo.
Sometimes, problems like this one have a very simple cause.

Unfortunately, I already thought about the little connector, and I already tried to unplug and plug it again, but nothing changes.

If I install this MFSW on another Polo, it works like a charm, so it doesn't seem to be a problem related to the MFSW or the buttons control unit or the airbag wiring.

Could it be that the BCM doesn't completely support the MFSW?

Bit 3(Multifunction-Function-Display active/installed shouldn't be checked(08 vs 0A)? Maybe that is the cause? 54 vs 14 is Japan vs Other the World?

You are making confusion.
Bit 3 is already checked.
"08" means that ONLY bit 3 is checked.
"0A" means that bit 1 and bit 3 are checked.

Ciclo,
"14" is "Country: Rest of World".
"54" is "Country: Japan".
As far as I know, this modifies only consumption unit (and only on some clusters it modifies also the hour from 24h to 12h a.m./p.m.).
I highly doubt this could be the cause of the malfunction, but I'll try it anyway.

Well, I tried modiying the coding from "54" to "14", but it didn't fixed the problem.

What if there is a cable missing from BCM to Instrument Cluster?
The steering button control unit communicate with the BCM, but the BCM cannot transfer the signal to the cluster, because a single cable is missing. Could it be possible?
