Colour Code Grill or Not

Post by PDA »

The Missus has a new polo, in Rosewood Red and is currently in the bodyshop getting a scratch taken out of the door. Whilst there i'm getting the plastic trims colour coded, but i'm not sure about getting the bonnet grill done too as i'm not getting the bumper grill done.

Has anyone seen or got any picture of 9n's with the grill colour coded. Not sure if it will look weird with top part color coded and other part not done.

Cheers

first of all, welcome to the forum!

painting only the upper grill might look a bit weird. i've done this:

you could have the front completely color coded or have the lower bumper painted, like i did, both of which would look good with a painted upper grill.

by the way, which parts of the plastic trim are you getting color coded? would love to see some pictures when it's done

She quite liked what you had done to your front bumber thought it was a nice little touch. Only bad thing is the greater chance of stone chips.

I think i'll leave it and just get the side trims and bumper trims done for now. Then coax her into some rims and a drop
