How do I check if it's the pistons or valves at fault without taking the head off

The car doesn't smoke that much when cold but when it's warm and deceleration then eccelarate a load comes out

Deceleration causes a vacum that sucks oil down the valve guides
If the car does not smoke on acceleration chances are the valve oil seals / guides are worn
Do you get a puff of smoke when you first start it in the morning
People used to say if it were the seals oil would seep past over night and a little would be burnt off when you first start it
this is of course just my opinion and could of course be wrong
