After washing my car, the boot lock no longer works. Im thinking that the switch is water damaged but not sure how I would check.
I have managed to get the trim off, but now i am lost.
Any help is much appreciated

Re: Help with a broken boot lock.
I think that there has been "a lot of this" on the equivalent Ibiza forums.
Edit:- personally I'd just join the SEATCUPRA and BRISKODA forums as well as this one to give yourself the best chance of blundering into/onto some topics that will eventually "come your way" - when all taken together, you end up with a larger knowledge/owner base.

Re: Help with a broken boot lock.
Yes it's not rare for a lock to fail. Perhaps you could remove and reattach the connector of the lock. If that doesn't help, I'd replace the lock. Another possibility would be the wiring or the rubber bridging the gap between the bootlid and the car.
