Hi guys.
I've been away since Thursday so the car hasn't been used since today. Just walking up to the car and the brake discs have a lot of rust on them. Is this normal? The cars only been sitting outside the house for a few days.

Re: Rusty Brake Discs
It's just surface rust, happens with any car with steel brakes, totally normal tbh.
Might feel a bit gravelly first time you use them after that they'll be fine

Yes, it's normal. You can have spotlessly clean discs, wash the car, wait a few hours and they'll rust up on the surface like your pic.S_94 wrote: Mon Jun 10, 2019 2:21 pm Hi guys.

Thanks both. Really panicked for a second there. Just done a short trip and it's mostly gone.
