Can somebody explain to me how the intermittent wipers work, if at all, when you have auto wipers?
My understanding is that I push the stalk up one click from the OFF position to enable auto wipers. But this is generally the position (in VAG cars) for the intermittent function of wipers. The stalk has the rocker switch to vary the frequency of the intermittent wipers but I am wondering if this is redundant on cars with auto wipers?

It adjusts the sensitivity of the auto wipers, at least it does on my current Leon.

It does adjust the sensitivity. I usually leave my rocker switch far right for normal rain and push it back a click to the left for that fine drizzle that will cause the rubbers to squeal on highest setting as the windscreen is barely wet on the quicker interval/higher sensitivity.fletch555 wrote: Thu Jun 13, 2019 12:05 pm Ahhhh ok thanks for that!
