Re: Polo AW Photo Gallery
Took out my hardwired dash cam of my 6c polo ready to get it wired into new polo in a week or so. Can anyone confirm if fitting dashcam wiring to the new AW polo is going to be similar? As in route it along the windscreen roof lining, into the driver's side A-pillar by removing it, then into the dash by removing the panel to the RHS which is normally hidden when the door is closed, then down to the fuse board. Also did has anyone found a suitable grounding point? In the 6c I found a small t6 screw where the dash is screwed to the chassis that I was able to back out a bit to put the earth terminal onto.

I've owned many Polo's and all had dashcams, no problem to install, just plug n pray its that easy. I use self adhesive wire clips to hold the A pillar cable in place but the rest gets hidden from sight.l3rady wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2019 11:56 pm Took out my hardwired dash cam of my 6c polo ready to get it wired into new polo in a week or so. Re: Polo AW Photo Gallery
Me and another member posted guides with lots of pics for dashcam fitment. Mine will probably be of most use to you for GTI+ as I notched the casing on the dimmable rear view mirror for better hiding of the cabling. Have a search for it.l3rady wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2019 11:56 pm Took out my hardwired dash cam of my 6c polo ready to get it wired into new polo in a week or so. Anyone got a reef blue GTI+ with a black roof? If so, grateful to see a photo. Thanks.

502....
502 days.
That is how long I waited for my Polo.
After almost year and a half I finally took delivery of it...
