Electrical Connector Help.

Post by Dink »

I wonder if anyone could help me out with some connectors (mainly the pins/sockets inside) i want to make up.

i'm looking to try and see if i can run a golf low pressure fuel pump controller in my polo gti.

i've identified which connector housings i need (1k0 919 231 for the fuel pump itself, 6n0 973 755 for the golf fuel pump controller and 1t0 972 711 to connect to existing wiring)

i believe i will require 1.5 mm and 4.8 mm power timer terminals (shown on the right in the photo)

but there seems to be different ones in the fuel pump housing(shown on the left in the photo) what connectors are these known as?

also is there somewhere else other than VW i could get these from?

There are many places online where you can buy the terminals, search online with the reference number of the contact terminal.

thanks for the info ciclo that has been a massive help.

does seem like the mcp contacts are not that easy to come by as much as the normal power timer ones.
