TRIPS buttons not working with MFA+ tacho

Hi. I changed recently my instrument cluster to version with MFA+. Exact model: 6r0 920 871a(with FW from model 6r0 920 870a. Modified by spacewalker). Unfortunetely after installing new IC i discover that the TRIP buttons on the left stalk don't work. I'm stuck at main screen(Phone) and that's it. I can't do anything else.

And even stranger every time when I turn ignition(or enter to the car) and press "OK" button for the first time the screen change(from door info to the phone info screen). But only that one time. After that pressing all kind of combination(for short or long) of TRIPS buttons do nothing.

Can someone maybe know what can be the cause of such behaviour?

That's right.I planned to retrofit new steering wheel after changing the IC.
I'm thinking about getting just the buttons, just to check if that would solve the problem. Maybe u know how do they work? Is it some kind of shift register? Can I shorten certain pin in the module under the airbag and BCM will register that as a button being pushed?

Sorry I don't get that one. Currently none of the action work. Neither I can go to the menu nor switch screens. If u are asking is that necessary to me I would say pretty much

Your 6R, from the factory, already has the two possible electrical installations to handle the menus, from the right stalk, as from the MFSW if you install the new buttons on the right side.
Note: It will not work properly with both types of buttons installed at the same time (trip buttons on stalk and mfsw buttons on right side).

I found(unfortunetely not solve) my problem today. It seems that premium bt module need buttons from MFSW not the ones from the stalks to work properly. So all TRIP buttons from the stalks are working perfectly fine just the first screen on the way(after pressing OK) is Phone and that's where everything stop working. That screen is just completely unresponsive when using stalks buttons. As soon as I disconnect BT module everything is back to normal and I can browse through the menus again using TRIP buttons.
It's the same problem as described here

What is that 7th bit responsible for? I tried to change coding to 82000 today but it is rejected by the module. Connecting right buttons to the module inside the steering wheel that you mentioned should fix that?

Ehh. You should know that is not the same. You comparing another module with own can comunication to the can bus with purely physical "stupid" switches. And even then(if it was module) what do think will happen? I guess error on the can gateway that there is no such module. That's it. So thx for replying for my previous question how those button work and comunicate with module.
