Water temp guage not a oil temp guage. Well its not working, is this a comon fault on a 1997 SE 16V?

On the deck or off the scale?

Assumes on the deck ie permenantly cold?

Wires probably come off the sensor or it's a bad connection on sensor or dash :lol:

i had that too. it would move slightly after like a 30min drive. nothing major tho.

Its on the deck all the time, going to do a full service probably next week so I'll trace back and see if we can find the fault.

So its a regular kin of fault then?
