Thanks for accepting me into this forum, I am from South Africa.
I took delivery of my new Polo a few days ago, it is a Polo with a non-turbo 1.6 MPi petrol engine. (I prefer naturally aspirated petrol engine for long term reliability.)
My car is assembled on the 24-AUG-2019 in the South Africa Production Line.
And it seems like the production line in South Africa is rushing to assemble these cars and didn't do their QC properly, as soon as I took delivery of the car I already spotted the following problems:
1) Interior trim above to the rear view mirror is not clipped in properly.
2) Left rear door's waterproof rubber tube of the electrical cable is not clipped into place.
3) A piece of metal clip is left inside the tailgate, so whenever the car is cornering there is a marble rolling sound from the tailgate.
4) The air ventilation is working in reverse.
5) The aircon is not cooling, compressor didn't click in due to there is not enough gas filled into the aircon system.
Although all the problems are fixed now (My car was in the dealership's workshop for 3 times...@@", and I believe the dealer suppose to at least picked up problem (4) and (5) in PDI.)
Just a piece of advice to those who will be taking delivery of your new Polo that is also produced around August 2019, please check all the functions (Light, Aircon, Ventilation...etc.) before leaving the showroom with your new car.
I already contacted VWSA about these issues, their customer care department is helpful and promise to past the message to the factory.
But times will tell if they will actually improve their QC as more people take delivery of their new Polo.

Hi ho8882000 welcome to the forum, fancy meeting a fellow countryman here 
Yah that Conceptline is an attempt by VWSA to keep the price point below R250K. Also attracts the car rental ppl because its a better value proposition for them.
Just seems wrong to have an MPI engine instead of TSI induction engine, you lose all that torque.
I've also question build QC and there loads of people on the forum with similar gripes, dig a bit deeper and you'll see.

I doubt it will ever make an appearance anywhere north of the African continent.

I reckon it's quite a good idea
Although VWSA should have put in the 1,8 82kW engine from the CTi
The 1,6 will probably outlast any 1.0 TSI by about... 20 years
Only pity, that you can't spec the cabby too much and it might sukkel a bit up on the Reef.

It's nice to see a fellow South African here.
I agree the 1.0 TSi does have more torque than the 1.6 MPi.
But I am a slow driver and I stay at the coast, so I can live with a slower 1.6 MPi Polo.

The emission standard of this 1.6 MPi Polo is EU3, so I don't think it can make its way to Europe.
In fact I don't even see a simple Catalytic Converter in my car, I only see a straight pipe...

The 1.6 MPi engine on this Polo is the Russia made CWVB engine, it belongs to the EA211 Petrol Engine family.
This CWVB engine is 66kW (155Nm), but the CWVA is 81kW (155Nm) which is identical to the CWVB engine, they both assemble in the same plant in Russia.
I have seen some people tune the CWVB engine (66kW) to the level of the CWVA engine (81kW).
