VAG-COM on a 6n?

this is probably a stupid question but i was reading another post regarding the VAG-COM things and was wondering if anyone knew if you could use one of these on a 6n. or am i way in the wrong direction?

yes you can but im not sure where the port is

It's under the dash. Take out the glovebox under the steering wheel, it's located towards the centre of the car. RHD may be different though...

and does anyone know what package / connector it is? i.e. which one i need to get?

Yeah the RHD fusebox is closer to the door, connection port is just below it if I remember rightly
