Icon I don't understand

Sorry I looked it up but was not able to find a solution...can anyone tell me what is that phone icon on my 6C GTI?

I don't know the answer. But usually this kind of stuff you find them in owners manual of your car.

Looks like a mobile phone and a wifi symbol - or does it mean that the paired cell phone is ringing - only complete guess work from me!

Can’t help you with what the icon is, but It looks as if the panel with the icon on it has been retro-fitted into the storage compartment in front of the gear lever in your car.

That storage compartment in my 6c Polo GTI looks like this;

it can be slot for your mobile phone where behind there a device to amplify the GSM reception
