Hey guys, I’m having a problem with TPMS in my 2015 Blue GT.
When I bought the car it had a leak in the rear tire, i took it to a garage and they replaced the valve. All was fine but I noticed a month ago that on vehicle status it says that it’s been disabled. I’ve looked on VCDS and all the bytes are enabled for TMPS.
Could anyone offer any suggestions? If I need a new valve I would appreciate a link or part number.
Thanks in advance

Re: TPMS deactivated
Your location is shown as being UK, normally for UK market VW small cars, the TPMS gets its data from the ABS system, so wheel valves are just the normal dumb ones.
Re: TPMS deactivated
Ok, I thought it might use ABS. Do you know if the loss system would still be active then?

Re: TPMS deactivated
There is a slight possibility that one of the controllers has been corrupted - ie it does not now have its factory coding.
It might be useful to get that car scanned or its software compared with what was loaded into it at the factory.
