how much can the polo be lowered with standard shocks?
(ie just buying lowering springs) :)

I reckon 35-50mm without noticing too much in the way of bad handling, beyond 50mm you'll need to be looking at combined shocks and springs or lovely lovely coilies.

50mm is your max i think, i havent seen any springs on there own using standard shocks that lower more than 50mm for the wee polo

you can only drop it as much as your damper will allow, if you drop it too much then the damper will not have enough travel to cope with larger bumps, if youve got the time take your springs off and see how low good it looks!!! haha don't be stupid and try and drive it like that though!
