K&N Filter Online?

Post by JWC »

WHere can I get a 33-2774 the K&N filter online for my car? I look at K&N site they are useless send you to a couple of other sites that are shockingly pap.

I never really thought that a filter could make such a difference, but get this, we stuck one on a cessna 172 at derby airfield and it decreases fuel consumption at cruise and increases static RPM - the maximum the propeller will turn whilst stationary - i.e. power.

What? to the plane? :)

Actually, it is pseudo supercharged, because the pressure wave from the prop coincides with the intake stroke. The intake it mounted just below the centre of the prop about 3 inches behind it. Plus its all pointing forward and has a 110 MPH constant wind blowing in it.

You think you have trouble with bugs hitting your car, well they actually wear the profile of the Dural prop!

I got mine from a company that sells nowt but filters on e-bay.....British company...Filter was around 30odd 40 quid i think delivered. Can't think of their name at the mo tho......just that they had an e-bay shop and the filter was on a 'buy it now' thing....

Cheers

Dave.
