6R xenon headlight to 6C xenon headlight

I have a 6R rline with factory fitted xenon headlights and have had a little bump and need replacing!
I’m thinking of fitting the 6C xenon/LED lights as both wiring plugs are 14 pin, I’m wanting to know if anyone knows wether these will just fit and work???
Can only find info on changing standard halogen headlights to xenon/LED, the 10 pin to 14 pin adapter plug/kit

No it's not that simple, you need a different bcm to make it fully functional

Thanks for the reply, I had looked into that, would it have to be a BCM from a 6C car as my car already has the “extras” like rain sensor, light sensor, headlight levelling, headlight washers, etc...
Forgive me if it sounds like I don’t know what I’m on about, i just read that those are the extras you could code into a highline BCM?!
If That’s even right?!

No you need the bcm from a transporter T6 with led headlights (or code it appropriately with vcp) to control the led headlights in a 6R

Thanks again, would I be right in thinking the 6C lights are completely LED (no xenon)?? As my Rline’s are LED and xenon already?!?!?

Can you do the other way round?

My 6c had led oem lights but they were stolen
I cannot afford to replace as they are £3500 from dealer
My question is - will standard non led light’s work

Yes you could make your that work, but you could have a look at second hand lights as well
