Retrofitting power folding mirrors wiring

Post by chrisgrogan »

Installed both power folding mirrors, eligible window regulating motor and also coded in on Carista for power folding. Didn't realise that there was also additional wiring to be done. Is there a step guide of where I'll need to add wiring (without having to splice them I hope). Thanks

Yeah,it is what has helped me so far tbh, but isn't that for if you've bought the K418 control unit?

The only thing I could find was actually post from you

pin 4 of the 38-pin connector to the ABS unit goes to pin 4 of the 6-pin connector of the push button.
pin 5 of the 6-pin connector of the push button goes to a +15 (ignition switched 12V, pin 35 blue/black wire of the ABS connector)
pin 6 of the 6-pin connector of the push button goes to a ground point, i.e. connect it to the dash cross member
pin 3 of the 6-pin connector of the push button goes to the button illumination signal (i.e. grey/blue wire in the T28 pin connector of the door wiring loom)
kinda new to wiring, only hardwired a dashcam so far, so I'm pretty stuck what to do with it

This wiring I described is very useful if you want to retrofit TPMS button :)
