Front PDC

Hi guys

I got a polo 6R 2010. My car has OEM rear pdc and OPS.

Now I changed my front and rear bumper and full exhaust.

See before picture:

After picture:

Now this front bumper has pdc holes so I added my Passat 3C sensors and painted toghether with the pumper.

Now I want to make it work. And search on some topics but I did not find all questions.
The polo 6R had no OEM front pdc so need to be creative and it seems to be possible.
I contact the guys from carsystems.pl.
The got a upgrade set. But pretty expensive. So I order the wire set and buzzer from them and order the 8K module on eBay.

My car already got rear pdc and OPS. So less work [emoji28].

Are there any guys on this topic who retrofit this upgrade please let me know

I've done that, but not on a Polo, on a B8 Audi S4, I have VCDS so recoded the infotainment system to accept that also the CAN Gateway probably.

What I bought from another supplier was the front bumper cable, and the front to rear cable. Then bought a used buzzer, used 8 channel controller and a used switch, the sensors I bought new from various places.

I'm guessing that you bought a used controller that was the 8 channel equivalent of your 4 channel one so it should not need coding.

The only part that was not included in this upgrade, was tying the front side into the CAN wiring, so I'd think that my set up will never detect what/where a front failure is coming from.

Is this button for the 6R , because the 6C button seems to be smaller

Yes it is. The 6C button is square, more or less. This one is rectangular

Some last quastions

The button that you use will it connect to my wire with nr 4D0971636A.

This same wire has two wires that come out of this connector, the grey and brown. On the sticker it says brown to the ground. That is no problem to find it. But the grey it says illumination ( verlichting), but were is the best place to connect this?

No, it says that these wires go to pin 4 and pin 13 on a connector that has 16 pins and it plugs into the PDC.

I'd say you'll have to plug it into the existing connector of your 4K system, like RUM4MO says.

Today just received the last part, the park switch.

So tomorrow morning I wil start this upgrade.

I did find this topic and it shows that this guy used a other way to get wiring from inside car to engine space to front bumper

Today installed but not working perfect

The illumination light suddenly die not go out.

The peeps and sensors working but no OPS Wen I put gear in R. Only if I put it in Neuteal after it was in the R
