According to the decoder I've found, this means the car has ESP, however the off button on the dash doesn't say ESP

I've just been checking the PR codes and the car has 1AT.

Does your car have G85 sensor? When you turn the wheel.does the value change?SimonPoole wrote: Tue Jul 07, 2020 8:08 pm I've just been checking the PR codes and the car has 1AT.

On a slippery road, just mash the gas pedal, if your tires start to spin, the rpm go like crazy, and it suddenly grabs ( wheels) then you dont have esp

It has traction control as it has the button on the dash to turn it off, but I don't have VCDS to check for the G85 sensor values changing.

Re: Fog lighs as Static Cornering Lights
I've checked in the fuse box and 57 is empty, 54 is occupied, so how much rewiring is required to get the cornering fog lights to work please?iichel wrote: Mon Jun 22, 2020 7:58 am Have a look at the fuse box below the steering wheel.
If fuse 54 is occupied, the fogs are hard-wired. That means it will require re-wiring for static cornering lights.
If fuse 57 is occupied, you can make it work using VCDS. And of course the steering angle sensor is needed (standard with ESP).

Re: Fog lighs as Static Cornering Lights
You need to add 4 wires:
1 wire from the fuse box to the BCM
1 wire from the light switch to the BCM
2 wires from the BCM to the fog lights (1 wire for each fog light)
remove the wire from the light switch to the fuse box (T17/8 to SB54) and the wire from the fuse box to the fog lights

From the top of my head:
fuse box - standard power timer
light switch - junior power timer
BCM - all four are MCP1.5

Select the version with cornering lights.
Kufatec provides installation instructions.
They also sell it on eBay, but I am unable to find the sale and post the link if I search on eBay.co.uk.
