My car had pink colour anti freeze, I filled it up with some blue general anti freeze from Asda.
Is this a problem? Do I need to ask a mechanic to flush it off completely? If so, which is the correct anti freeze to buy?

Don't mix the coolant. I'd recommend to flush and re-fill with pink.

There is a possibility that it will be okay as you have just bought this blue coolant additive, in the past adding blue coolant to red/pink/purple coolant would always lead to serious gelling up issues.
But, would I take a chance and see what happens - never, get it flushed out and refilled with G12PLUS or probably now G13, and so keep the cost of your mistake down to a minimum.

Thank you very much for the answers. As suggested, I went for a full flush.
Strange thing is that it took only 1L non mixed coolant to refill it all, is that okay?
Obviously the mixture and refilling has been done by a mechanic.

I can't say as I don't know the cooling system capacity, but I tend to use the concentrate and water in a 1:1 ratio, ie 50% so it sounds that your system has maybe only 30% concentrated coolant - or less, which might be okay for where you live.
