Hi Lucas,
Post the last vcds autoscan you have in the conditions you have explained.
You need to finish the installation by installing the new dimmer switch.

Hi,
Just in case I attached current coding and a scheme how I made all the connections Will post VCDS scan later on after work
Is it better to plug old dimmer or not at all ?
R1,2,3,5 is a autolights relay, I missed negative R2 on scheme, but it is connected

Hi,
...
Autoscan:
Waiting for it (it is easier to work on the coding), that is, I have no intention of checking the BCM encoding from an image, but thanks for the images anyway.
Old Dimmer:
Leave it installed if you have properly insulated the wires going to the headlights for manual leveling. Logically, the leveling of the headlights will not work.
You already know that it is necessary to install automatic headlight leveling (sensors, unit).

HI,
For some reason I cant post a scan, keep getting a message forbidden contains contact
any advice
090D 0762 H82
Anyway I just find out on one of the 090D BCMs I have, when I disconnect number plate light wire T73b/7 all lights working fine ( obviously without number plate ), ilumination switches off as well
Problem with this BCM is I cant add any remote controls, Channel 1 not available
090D 0725 H78
On this one DRLs working only on O and AUTO when main beam is off, when main beam off no DRLs other lights and ilumination works fine ( obviously without number plate )
Remote controls works with this one as well
I will add I have not disconnected that cable on purpose, I am retrofiting T6 dash as well, BCM is placed upside down comparing to T5.1, I was bit upset and couldnt take it out so pulled it out Not a solution, but at least I dont have to disconnecting negative terminal every time I switch off ignition

Re: Auto headlight retrofit. VW Transporter. T5 (2010-2015)
Regarding BCM in which channel 1 is not available is something we are studying. It is something new that is not yet clear. Perhaps from a manufacturing date of the PQ25 BCMs an online connection and IMMO data will be required to match the remote controls (as on other platforms).
Forget the tests you have done with this BCM, they are not useful even if the lights work.
Please take two photos of the two BCMs from the area where the reference number and the info are located. Thank you.
DRLs only work on 0 or Auto-->when lights off. What you mean is that the side/parking lights do not work (less brightness than DRLs in the LED module), which is another of the functions of the LED module of your Bixenon headlights. Side lights should work with the light switch set to the side lights and headlight positions and AUTO-->lights ON.
It is very likely that it is a problem of coding or adaptation.
Delete the ross-tech web address from the autoscan and try to post it.
... or don't use the CODE function when editing the text, copy and paste the autoscan directly, no problem.

Hi,
I tried both ways, with code and copy paste - same error occurs
Regarding light switch I meant on postion 0 LED lights up 100% brightness - and I think thats correct
On side light position they dont light up at all
On auto they work with 100% brigtness when main beam off ( not dark outside ) - should be dimmed
Same on main beam
High beam not stay on as well
If I will send you scan just of 09 Central electronics is that any good or full scan required
I will try to post scan another time when back home

Igniter is connector under seat.
Re: Auto headlight retrofit. VW Transporter. T5 (2010-2015)
I dont have airbags connected, I dont want to put dash back on before everything works
On top of Xenon and auto lights I do T6 dashboard,
On the way back home my windscreen was hit by something and I have lovely crack all way down from top to the bottom, so I now I think about heated windscreen retrofit as well

Re: Auto headlight retrofit. VW Transporter. T5 (2010-2015)
Remote controls work on this one, no dimmed DRL with main beam, no DRLs on side light position, high beam not staying on
Remote controls doesnt work on this one, all lights work correct, except high beam not staying on

On auto they work with 100% brigtness when main beam off ( not dark outside ) - should be dimmed No, it must be full brightness in these conditions, which is what I explained to you previously.

High beam not stay on as well - Coding

Please copy and paste the BCM coding exclusively here. I thought you would understand that this is the only way I can check your BCM coding easily, quickly and efficiently. Thanks.
With photos/images I would have to write one by one each Hexadecimal value of all the Bytes of your BCM , that's why I told you that I had no intention of doing it ...
I will try to post scan another time when back home

Re: Auto headlight retrofit. VW Transporter. T5 (2010-2015)
Hi,
I tried to paste it here with the same message: forbidden
I will just split BCM coding into few posts, maybe it will go this way
I knew and I understand it will be much easier for you to copy plain text
Just did what was possible
This is my 8th post, so soon we should be fine
Will try again after work 2-3 hours time
Cheers

Your BCM coding is correct.
A0A03DBA4EE1241393284E716EEB8E554280662F60857841320000020000
Recheck the wire T73a/62 viewtopic.php?f=56&t=70736&start=45#p528735
Recheck the wires for side/parking lights (58L/58R) viewtopic.php?f=56&t=70736&start=30#p528541
Recheck in ETKA for the reference number of Bixenon Headlights cotrol units.
If the above is correct it may be necessary to parameterize the BCM with VCP.

Re: Auto headlight retrofit. VW Transporter. T5 (2010-2015)
Hello everyone!
I have updated BCM til 090D max. Retrofited auto-headligts, cruise, MFSW and rain sensor. Biiig thanks to ciclo and Adam87 for sharing their knowlage.
And almost everything is working
I have learn a lot by doing this. Crazy feeling to think about T5 wiring everythere i go
My next step is refrofiting xenon lights. Originaly car came with H7 headlights. Selfleveling and headwasher kits is on its way from Kufatec.
By searching for new bumper for fitting headwasher nozzels i have found the guy parting out T6. AND now i just wonder, if it's dig difference T6 xenon/led headlights wiring from T5.1 xenons? Decided to go all in on this project
