Small mk5 mirrors wanted! (l & r)

Post by Speedlaw »

Looking for heated/powered mirrors from a mk5 Polo, need to be the small ones, left, right or both :D

Colour not important, they'll be resprayed anyway. Do need to be in working order though...

One more thing; shipping to the Netherlands is part of the deal- I can't drive towards you to get them

Thanks!

Edit --> Manual mirrors welcome too! (Look below)

Thanks Josh, I'll ring a different dealer tomorrow to double check.

I've asked on a German forum tonight if they know if the part is available on the continent. They said it should be, even if the VW Parts guy says it's not- they advised me to find another dealer or even someone else at the same dealer to figure it out...

So if it fails, I'll definitely give you a shout (excellent offer mate!). I'll update this thread too if anything changes. I hope I can lose the powered mirros for some tasty manual Mk5 bits, I know it sounds crazy but I love the look and the manual ones are a lot less hassle to fit.

if you want a small right side mirror, try at www.abwsa.ch

It's a scrap center here in Switzerland...I don't know if they can send things up to UK but on the web page you can search the parts you want...

it's only in german and english...

look for a right mirro

(our left mirror is the big one...driver is on the left  )

True indeed, can't find the Mk5 item. BUT! You did made me think and I'll be phoning the local breakers today. Probably cheaper than the dealership.

So Ashley, have you fitted the new mirrors then?

Given the new forum rules, this is just a short message to say I've got the mirrors (notice the sigpic). Thanks everyone for the help!
