anyone know where i could get hold of a functional shark fin aerial???

i know u can buy them from BMW parts for about £40. wud have to get the 3series one though cos the others wud luk 2big and stupid!

yeah, the mini 1s are smaller i believe.......

just have a peek at "go mini " magazine and theres tons of places u can get them.. :)

but what actually is a 'shark fin' aerial ? and i take it the go straight onto polo's ?

IMO not as nice as my Richbrook alloy aerial lol :P but should look OK with a bit of color-coding and smoothing onto the roof in place of the original aerial. Looks a bit "bumper-car" as standard eh? :lol:

You can get one from FK Auto btw...

the ones on the mini look different. smaller. they are usually used for bluetooth. look on the way home at all the bmw roofs etc and mercs, ull see plenty mate!

Hardly seems woth makin the change, doesnt really look that much different to the standard GTi one !

thats not a picture of the shark fin aerial i know, that just luks like u've un-screwed ur normal aerial n left the base! :P 3-series one's luk a load nicer!

Yeah, the pic I posted from FK Auto looks like its ready to be painted up or something. They're usually colour coded to the car. Sorry 'bout that :)
