The cable tie.
Brief comment:
I was a bit surprised by the amount of dirt that accumulates on the inner side and adjacent areas of the rear bumper.

Nice
Do you know the name of the plug that goes into the LED blind spot mirror? What are the connectors?
Thank You

I don't know, in the ETKA there is no reference for these connectors.
It seems to me that it is a German company that manufactures this type of connector, ... it is the type of connector that the taillights have on the interior electronic board.
In other words, they are connectors for electronic boards.
We'll have to find out, I guess.

It works as it should, it automatically parks forward, backward and laterally. If the system doesn't detect it, you can select the parking type/mode by pressing the park button repeatedly.
Works correctly, ideal for monitoring the sides.
Well, I park much better, faster and better choose the perfect place to park.
I have never hit any other car, neither while driving, nor parking, nor when opening the door after parking.

BSM
Image captured when the BSM system is being activated in the menus, so there is little time to take the image while it turns on and off to remain active.
The illumination of the warning light is weak, at least for the weather conditions of Spain. There is no possibility to increase or decrease the brightness with these control units for BSM, maybe (I assume) that the brightness of the warning light depends on the RLHS.
- edit ... I have read and been informed by friends that the warning light in the mirror is weak, but after a few tests during daylight and night I am thinking that it is perfect for driving without any stress. The BSM system must be available for when we look in the mirror to visualize the rear traffic and the one that may be in the blind spot, not to be permanently informed of the traffic that is passing us or that we are passing, which would generate unnecessary distractions.
I definitely think the VW engineers have made it perfect, both in the position of the warning light at the end of the mirror and the brightness of it.
I apologize for the image quality, the delay in focusing the camera does not allow me to take a good image while the BSD light turns on and off when the system is activated in the menu. Considering that I 'hate' smartphones, I will have to buy another more current smartphone, the one I currently have is too old.

smr https://www.smr-automotive.com/
I have tried with no success to find the mini connector for the BSD LED light on the mirror.
smr is the supplier of these original mirrors for VW, it has a worldwide presence.
smr has several partners that supply electrical components and on none of their websites have I been able to find the mini connector.
Searching in google 'mini 2-pin pcb connector' you can find very similar connectors, although the problem would be to find the rubber seal for waterproofing.

Wow Ciclo. I have been away from this forum for way too long.
Funny to see that your wife has got a Mk7,5 Golf. I bought a 2015 Mk7 Golf 1,4 TSI R-line on my birthday bach in January. And has made pretty much the same mods as you have... With som exeptions.

Hi Martin, good to hear from you!
Wow, you have a super nice Golf 7 R-line, congrats!, the paint color is one of the ones I like the most. It is clear that your project in terms of exterior appearance has good features, ... large BBS rims, double tailpipes, lower suspension, and some small but exquisite decorative touches. Really beautiful!
My wife's golf is more standard in terms of looks ... she likes it that way ... sometimes I'm tempted to install bigger rims (somewhat OEM, 18") but would surely be kicked out of the marital home.

Something that may be interesting for those who, like me, upgraded from CCS to ACC.
1- Without CCS or ACC.
2- With CCS.
3- With ACC.
Instruments. Adaptation channels. (my current configuration = 3)
SA
IDE12226-MAS10720-Display of longitudinal regulation coordinator-Speed limiter,active ,1
IDE12226-MAS05203-Display of longitudinal regulation coordinator-CCS,not active ,1
IDE12226-MAS03686-Display of longitudinal regulation coordinator-Automatic distance regulation,active ,1
Once your speed control system is upgraded, go to the 17 Instruments, enter the Security Access and choose the correct value that corresponds.
In this way the correct system will be displayed in the Assist systems menu.

Thanks. I’m really happy with it. I also upgraded the radio (just went a bit further than you again) and installed a Mk7,5 Hig RVC.

The High RVC is great!Mart!n-GTI-DK wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 5:53 am Thanks. I’m really happy with it. I also upgraded the radio (just went a bit further than you again) and installed a Mk7,5 Hig RVC.
Regarding the process of upgrade the Infotainment System there are no big differences between DMedia and DPro, in fact it would have been cheaper if I had upgraded to DPro, ... I do not rule out a future upgrade.
The same happens when upgrading from IC Plus Standard to IC Plus Colour, or AID (the MOST popular ).
I see in a reflection that the BlueGT is still with you ...
Thank you very much for the info Piotrek, it seems that the Molex 5102 is currently discontinued. There is a mini JST connector that is also very similar.
I'm glad your BSM is working properly. Good job!

By the way... Do you know if it is at all possible to upgrade to the 7,5 headlights?
I know my BCM does not support LED headlights and that the 7,5 lights use less wires... But could it be done?

Re: ciclo. Wife's Golf MK7.5 Ready2Go 1.0 TSI 6MT 200Nm/l 115HP
I don't know if it is physically possible to fit the LED headlights from the Golf 7.5 in the Golf 7, I think I read somewhere that the Golf 7.5 headlights did not fit exactly in the Golf 7 and vice versa. However, I have read a lot of statements from the Internet that when I have checked them were not totally true.
You should do a little study on the physical installation, maybe there are small unimportant differences that can be overcome without major problems.
Electronically it is entirely possible with the right units.
An excellent thread with a great link that may interest you (use the translator if necessary):

What are your current diagnostic tools? VCDS, VCP, VAS?
---
I did some TEST (for personal and learning reasons) with some Replica headlights that I finally left them installed with an excellent quality MORIMOTO LEDs.
Everything works fine (within the legal conditions for driving) after several improvements on these Replica headlights, being very precise in all the small details, but it is not OEM.
I thought about installing some OSRAM LED headlights, but they are only available for the Golf 7.
Yes, for sure, OEM headlights are much better, but I wanted to know what the hell people were installing on their Golfs. Replica LED headlights are very popular on the Golf 7 worldwide. And now also in the 6R / 6C, Amarok, etc ...
LED headlights have outperformed xenon/bixenon headlights in all respects, however I don't know the reason for its high price, it should not be like that.
