I have Hex+V2 VCDS.

The only difference to fitting the 7,5 headlights on a 7 should be the front fenders.

Well, a lot of the coding and adaptation work can be done with VCDS, but you will need to have the VAS to do various work with ODIS-S ONLINE for the correct installation of the new units you need to install.

As a recommendation and if you are determined to do it, I would start with the BCM and the GW.

These are the latest models 'HIGH' for Golf 7.5 BQ1 (my wife's golf):

In no case will it be a cheap installation.

The lights are almost identical. BUT only the Golf R have light in both the "U" DRL's. And all others with xenon lights only have light in the outer "U" in both headlights. And also the R has LED turnsignals in the headlights aswell.

I don't have the dynamic indicators in the mirrors. I don't really like them... To much carnival lights for my taste.

But I have made "semi dynamic" indicators in the taillights with a timer relay.

Thank you very much for the link exantas, I had seen it a long time ago, but it is good to have it handy. OSRAM is one of my favorite brands.

I haven't thought about installing the dynamic turn signals on the mirrors yet (maybe I should have done when I ran the BSD wires through the mirrors).

There are several possibilities with new functions for the dynamic turn signals in the mirrors (LED with blue color when opening the car - Aliexpress -) but as Martin says it would be a carnival of lights.
In case I installed them, I would buy them in the accessories section of the official VW website, maybe they are the same as OSRAM's.
