Removing the central console plastics

Post by BenMMellor »

Can anyone tell me how hard/easy it is to remove the central plastic in the dashboard. I'm referring to the one which surrounds the radio and the climate control..

Thanks !

I believe its held by screws, found by removing the radio and cubby hole, undoing those will allow the air fan bits and surround to lift out

this where you mean?

Yes i intend the whole piece of plastic that covers the central part of the dash board, surrounding the air fans, the radio hole, the controls of the "clima" etc...i've found two screws under the console, just at the top of the central "place where you can put some objects" (sorry but i don't know the correct english word :) ) ..only that they are quite impossible to "unscrew" due to their werid position...in the hole of tha radio i wasnt' able to find an screws or anything else colud helpme to detach the console...

any other suggestions? maybe someone that already have done this??
