Fog light and steering leavers replace

Post by Ridhaa51 »

Hi guys, I have two concerns.

1. Fog lights on work with corner assist and doesn't stay on when the leavers is pulled. Any advise?

2. How would fit a broken steering wheel height adjustment leaver. Mine broke and I managed to find a replacement.

Kind regards

I'd recommend to probably replace the light switch since it appears to be the most likely culprit.

As far as the lever goes, there is no official replacement procedure, other than replace the entire steering column.
So I'd recommend to improvise a bit with the plastic lever, it's a plastic part that probably has a melted connection to a metal lever.

On the lights. It seems it could be my switch as the corner assist works perfectly fine.

With the leaver I'm able to fit it on the existing metal teeth/gear, however the panel underneather the steering seems to be restricting me from getting the leaver into it

If your car has the power steering unit in the engine bay, removing the entire steering column is very easy.
if tye power steering unit is part of the steering column... not so easy.
