I've just ordered an 7E0937090D for swapping my 6R0937087P, for future retrofits of various things. Read from @iichel there is a need to adapt the wirings and remove the can gw. I think my car doesn't have a separate can gateway, it's possible? It's a MY2014 6r 1.6tdi highline with MFSW, climatronic, rcd510 and parking sensors from factory.
So I still need to modify the wiring or it's just a plug&play (excluding coding) work?

I would strongly recommend to buy a 090C bcm, it is not possible to adapt the keys/remotes to a 090D bcm with VCDS

Too late.. Already bought. Thank you iichel for your reply. Somewhere I've read one can still learn remotes with a working key, it's correct? I also have online odis.
And about the wirings could you tell me something?

you don't need to bypass external gateway since your car doesn't have one.

you do need to do a full bcm max retrofit. this indeed involves some wiring, but what it need is unique for every car and will involve studying the wiring diagrams and the wiring in the car extensively.

Yes, for now there is no new or different parts, I just want to start with BCM, for future I have planned to install RLS mirror with auto lights switch, 6c led headlights and a discover media nav.
So in this case can I just disconnect the old one and connect the new one without wiring mods or I need to mod something?

You need to backup the coding of the old bcm and transfer it to the new bcm, adapt the keys and do a lot of writing. Look around the forum and search for bcm max writing or bcm max adaptation.
