Soda Blasting Engine Cleaning

Hello to everyone!

I read somewhere about some guys that are doing Soda Blasting engine cleaning. The guys insists about bringing back lost horsepower which in some cases is 20-30 PS and also they are posting images from intake before and after. The car owners after the cleaning claim for huge different and elimination of problems that they had before.

What is your opinion about this? Does anyone did something similar ?

here in the netherlands, walnut blasting is very popular for mostly the same reasons

You could also do this by your own, ofc. No blasting but chemical procedure and with picks to scrape the gunk.
I think its worth it, but 20-30 ps - No, clog must be so great to restrict 20-30 ps.
