Have bought this actuator for garret turbo on my 2011 CFWA engine polo.
I believe it is the correct part, i was wondering why many of these have adjustment nuts on the arm, and this one is fixed??
And then how if at all is the preload adjusted or is it preset for the specific turbo?
Turbo Actuator Adjust???

Re: Turbo Actuator Adjust???
doesn't look very adjustable to me tbh
Re: Turbo Actuator Adjust???
I think i may have worded incorrectly.
Its not adjustable, i was wondering if this was normal and can i just straight swap out the part for the other? Or is there another way of setting preload?

Re: Turbo Actuator Adjust???
The wording of your opening post was correct, so no problems there!
The mounting bracket fixing screw holes are slotted so that would provide some rough adjustment, if you made up shims to place between the actuator body and its mounting bracket, that would provide finer adjustment - if that is needed.
All that is based on logic and seeing a picture of the assembly.
