Upgrading BCM to MAX

Hi Polo wise people!

I have a 1.6 tdi comfortline bmt

Im upgrading my "highline" headlights (h7/h7) to bi-xenon with 10-14 adapters (no auto leveling)

In the that process im upgrading my bcm from 6R0 937 088F to 7E0 937 090B

Now to my question: is the only thing I need, a can wiring loom from t73b/57-54 to t32/29-28 or do I need anything else?

As far as I can see it dosent have the pins for LED DRL or cornering lights, beside the 90b can light up my mfsw

For the new BCM 7E0 to work properly in your BlueMotion, in addition to the new CAN lines for the IC, you need to connect all the wires going to the current Gateway to the new BCM 7E0, thus eliminating the external Gateway. There is a clear correspondence from where each wire goes to the new BCM (erWin, elsa).
The functions of the old removed Gateway are now performed by the internal Gateway of the new BCM 7E0.

Your old original BCM can manage all the functions for Bixenon headlights (DRLs, SCLs, side lights, etc), but as you say, not the lighting of your new MFSW.

...if you need the codings for the whole process (7E0 BCM + Bixenon) you only have to ask for it once you have finished with the electrical installation.

It is right.
However, verify that the convenience and powertrain CAN lines reach the white connector of the BCM, add the diagnostic ones and the new ones from the IC.

You must also connect the LIN wire for alternator - battery monitor (violet-white wire T20/12 GW) to T73b/37.

For interior lights you must also change the position of the wire T73b/1 to T73b/4. It is a different terminal, they are both MCP, but different in size.
For this, I recommend adding a new wire (1.10 m of 1.0mm2) from T73b/4 to T6/3 of the Dimmer. Isolate current terminals, T6/3 and T73b/1.
