Re: Polo 6r bi - xenon retrofit problem
Hello umit53,umit53 wrote: Sun Feb 28, 2021 9:38 am Hello, I have a 2013 model polo 6r 1.6 tdi
-I did the bcm upgrade (7e0937090) 6r0937086m to 7e0937090
I also made the 10 pin to 14 pin harness
I have a problem like this, the vehicle does not make high beam in 0 position and it is in parking position
also cornering lights do not work (no factory fog lights)
What should I do? Can you help me?
1- In position 0 of the light switch the high beams should not work when you push the lever, only the high beam flashes when you pull the HB lever.
2- In position 0 of the light switch, the only lights that must work are the DRLs, that is, the LED modules integrated in the Bixenon headlights.
LED modules provide two types of lights:
- DRLs, in position 0 of the light switch (very bright).
- Parking/Side lights in any other position of the light switch (less bright).
This should be your new BCM coding 'with the data/info you have provided':
3CB02FBF48A10000093808D17C2B0FD0FA80477F600D1040200000030000
(7E0 BCM Max adaptation?, Bixenon, without wiring installation for automatic lights.)
BCM power wire for SCLs.
+30 ---> SB57 fuse (15A) ---> T73b/11 (1.0mm2)
And on the other hand you must adapt some wires for the BCM adaptation.
Similar to this
I say similar because your J331 relay will have a different location and it is also different model (646) from Pave's one because your 6R is a different Model Year.
In the installation guide for Pave do not take into account what is mentioned for SCLs/fog lights, Pave's 6R had factory SCLs/fog lights.
The key to everything is in the image WL3.

Re: Polo 6r bi - xenon retrofit problem
It doesn't matter
, do exactly what I mentioned in the previous post (it's your reference from now on) and your bixenons will work fine.
I have assumed due to the BCM coding from autoscan you posted that the wiring for automatic lights has not been installed ...? ... 7E0 BCM Max, and Bixenon headlights only, right?

Re: Polo 6r bi - xenon retrofit problem
Ok, do what I have told you, and everything will work as factory.
Since your 6R is manual and not DSG, you must also install a new wire from T73b/12 to the connector slot of reverse light .
Remove and 'isolate' the original wire from the reversing light.

If iichel wants, he will answer these questions.
I no longer manufacture wiring looms for anyone.
Good luck with these electrical installations.

Re: Polo 6r bi - xenon retrofit problem
Sure, I can help out with auto lights. I think it's important to first finish this project.
There should already be a wire between SB34 to T73a/62.
If you did your installation correctly, the low beam is already operated by the BCM, pin T73a/1 and T73b/1 for left and right low beam (to T10/6 to T14/6).
There should be two wires with permanent positive 12V to T73a/62 and T73b/68.
You changed this in the process of your BCM Max retrofit.
If this is working correctly, your low beam the low beam should be on when you flash your xenon.

Re: Polo 6r bi - xenon retrofit problem
Logically, wthout effort there is no reward.
Without proper electrical installation my 'perfect' BCM coding for 'your' 6R will not work.
Coding is the chimp thing, or 1 or 0, especially if someone tells you how to do it, it only remains for you to show yourself your skills installing the wiring looms for the daring decision you made, 'the installation of Bixenon Headlights in your 6R'.
Some around here call it a headache or nightmare, but you have the incredible fortune to have been technically advised so that everything works perfectly, which is exactly the 'quote' you have made.

The 311 relay, it's the 646 relay in the beige relay holder.
