POLO GTI 6C LOWERING SPRINGS

Post by tjswallow »

Looking to get some lowering springs for my POLO GTI 6C to remove the huge arch gap. Was thinking of getting the low version H&R springs (30mm front and rear 45mm on a GTI) not sure if this will be a harsher ride than OEM as its quite hard anyway. also seen the way the suspension is set up mean the rear wheel moving forward in the arch on a larger drop.

Any help or lowering spring suggestions appreciated.

I've heard mixed reviews about the H&R ones, they drop it low but apparently the ride is harsh and the drop on the back pushes the wheel forwards in the arch. I've just bought a set of Eibach springs for my BlueGT, I'll be getting them fitted next week hopefully, so no photos yet but here's a link that will help you: viewtopic.php?f=56&t=72067
