Aircon problem

Hello anybody had problem with there aircon in this hot weather we been having. It only started last Friday as when I turn on aircon and turn the fan speed up it will only work when switching to speed 4 any other speed and won’t work seems to be the same for the fan motor. Did a scan and come up with no errors this on a 19 plate gti plus

Sounds like the resistor has gone.

Yes it had gone seems to be a common issue with VW had it done under warranty should not have gone within 2 years old ?

Should not really. But sometimes if the pollen filter is blocked it can cause them to go as it’s putting a strain on it.

Pollen filter is changed when it’s serviced that is done in its Recommended service intervals

That’s good. Just one of those things suppose with cars.
