It seems clear that the state of charge of the battery is the cause for the intermittent diagnostic fault (logically it is not 100% sure).
If you have a charger, recharge the battery again until it reaches a good state of charge.
Check if the diagnostic fault returns, in which case, you should buy a New battery (just as a suggestion) with the same parameters as the current one... although you can live with the "fault" until the current battery dies, which usually happens at the worst possible time ... 😁

New BCM coding (DRL and Side/Parking lights as before + Byte16 Bit4 enable)

This is is! Finally the headlights work perfect 8) Now only waiting till ~ 2nd February for that new slip ring and go for the HBA retrofit

For the battery i will wait till it die or until my next oil change, witch is very close, and will see if there is any differences when Byte16 / Bit4 is enabled - disabled.

Once again BIG THANK YOU!

Little help with HBA retrofit please :?
According to this scheme here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2nv91 ... 57A3T1S71w

Only 2 thing are not clear for me to finish my project, and they are:

Image

1. What should be done here? Is this "SB 4"' are misspell of SB 49? Or i should take cable from SB 4a to SB 49 a/b?

2. Here in my case for LED lights, only 1 new cable from SB 36b to T14b/11 and no remaking for the wires of left headlight? And for the fuses, now i have for SB 34 - 15 A fuse, and then have to change it to 7.5 A, is this correct?

1: yes, please make 49 a 30A fuse and 4 a 7,5 fuse. you can use SB49 as a main supply for several smaller fuses
2: yes, convert from a single fuse, for both high beams to a single fuse for each high beam output. so
T73a/1 - fuse - high beam
T73b/1 - fuse - high beam

Hello again,
Need a little help before i mess the thing up :D

In my case i already have BCM max, auto lights and LED headlights, and everything works prefect!
For auto lights i followed this instructions: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cXw67i ... 9R6DO/view

Wires manufactured by ciclo, installed by me (but i don't remember what i have done ....), anyway situation is like this:

For the HBA i start to follow this instructions: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2nv91 ... 57A3T1S71w

Unfortunately, some of the slots are already occupied, and i am not really sure what to do , which ones is already done in previous retrofit .... :?

Here are the problem slots: Image

As I have mentioned in several forum posts, I no longer provide help for wiring installations because "everything" is already written on this forum.
I ask for understanding and comprehension, I can't do the same thing so many times, it's not my nature.
Just follow the diagram, it's easy if you put your mind to it. Nothing happens if you make mistakes and assume those mistakes. Life is a continuous learning.

You must connect the wires according to the purpose of the provided SIGNAL (58, 58d, 56a, 56b, +30, +15, etc) and from which slot the wires runs until which slot they go, the color of the wires is a secondary aspect (only for identification).

When you finish with the electrical installation I help you with the BCM coding and troubleshooting.

Sorry for bothering... My fears were not to ***** up the things that have already been achieved, especially when I followed your instructions for auto lights WITHOUT HBA :?
My main problem is with those occupied slots in 10 pin auto switch connector - pin 2/4/8, and on BCM T73a/1, T73a/37..... not sure what will happen if i remove and isolate them and put new wires according to the scheme you provide.

That's why i prefer to ask for advice
Sorry once again for my amateur skills in electricity, but keep in mind that i am a bicycle graphic designer

In that case I will make an exception. 🚲

Since you're a great person, I'll help you with the wires, but allow me some time to tell you exactly what you need to do.
Right now I'm busy  with this project and I have to find a good time to review yours.

I don't feel bothered at all, I just thought that since you did the electrical installation of my wiring looms for auto lights and BCM Max with hardly any help from me I figured your skills would be more than enough for HBA.

I apologize for the delay, my spring project 2022 was not easy. I had to solve some bugs that surely nobody knows , ... in addition to other difficulties beyond my control.

I'm ready to help you with the HBA installation, totally free and fast, but this time I prefer it to be by email. Do you think it's OK?
Please, if you agree, tell me directly by email what you need, thanks.
