Led light error

Hello. I just swapped my halogen reverse light for an LED. I now get a warning lamp error. I cleared it but it keeps coming back. I turned off the lamp diagnostics in obdeleven but the error remains. I believe there is a bit somewhere in byte 27 that allows you to change the light setting to LED. Problem is most of byte 27 bits have no lable so I'm not sure which bit it is. Any help please? Car is a polo 6r gti.

The byte 27 is only for licence plate lights. The reverse light is not in there.

I don't know what BCM you have but this info is true for 7E0 :-

LC,27,0,License Plate Light as LED installed
LC,27,1,Activation terminal 58d active via Body Control Module (BCM) with pulse width modulation (PWM)
LC,27,2,additional marker lights LED
LC,27,3,Rear Fog lights LED
LC,27,4,Rear lights LED
LC,27,5,LED brake light

All of these bits are activated with T6 with OEM LED Lights

Bcm is 7H0. Any idea where i could find reverse light as LED?

I am not sure if it’s possible with 7H0, led lights was introduced as OEM option only with T6, I will try to change my own reverse lights to led and check what all possible bites, then you could try it on your 7H0

I have changed all my rear bulbs to LED and I have no faults

LC,27,0,License Plate Light as LED installed

I have activated all these bits, if I am not wrong bit 4 should be for reverse lights
