Do you have the correct slip ring? I see your car is 2011, so you probably have 6Q0 stalks and slip ring now.
On the 7E0 stalks, the best fit is 6R0 slip ring. It's plug and play for wiring, but you need to do a calibration of the steering angle sender after replacement.
