Hi,
Recently my 6c polo gt has developed a fault. Commonly when driving it will feel like a light dabbing of the breaks with no loss of revs but obviously a loss of power.
Ive notice the rubber seal where the brake servo pipe and vaccum pipe join isn’t very tight together to the point where i can lift it a little and hear a hiss.
Is this most likely my issue?
Feel braking when driving - Brake Servo Vaccum Pipe??

I take it that you do know that if you brake while your foot is pressing the accelerator, the car's ECU "sees" that the brake pedal has been depressed and so cuts back the throttle pedal input. Apart from anything else, that will be a safety issue.
That vacuum pipe joining point looks nasty though I must say.

Looks like the vacuum pipe isn't even properly seated in the connection?

If it's damaged - replace it.

Well, sometimes the way that people describe their problem brings, what might seem annoying, responses!faulkner1213 wrote: Thu Oct 13, 2022 3:54 pmObviously but who does that.
