Hello, I am looking at doing a clutch replacement on a 2013 Polo 6R 1.2 Tdi CFWA engine.
Does anyone know if the VW tools i.e. engine support 3300 A and forcing plate T10413 are required to complete a clutch replacement?
The manual states its required to push the against the sub-frame but does anyone know if its essential or if I could do it without them.
If anyone can shed a light that would be great.
Many thanks.

You can always support the engine using an block of wood and a jack under the oil pan.
Im not sure for other tools, but the 1.6 TDI doesn't need it.

Thank you very much for replying.
Any ideas whether this 1.2 TDI CWFA engine has a dual mass flywheel or a solid one?
There isn't any information available out there regarding it.

It has single mass flywheel. Clutch kit is cheap, if you want to save a bit money you can get Blueprint. Several of my friends are running them on 1.2tdi and they are ok.

Vehicles with a start/stop system typically come with dual-mass flywheel.

Re: Polo 1.2 Tdi clutch tools
As this is a Match model would it be fair to say the car will most likely have a single mass flywheel?
From what I know the Blue-motion model has stop/start capability only?
In terms of clutch manufacturers, how would Blueprint compare to Sach or Luk?

Sachs, Luk produce oem clutch parts for vw. If you dont mind spending extra get them.
From my expirience the Blueprint friction material is a little softer ( wears a bit quickly if you launch the car)
