1S0 BCM Query

Post by rhinopower »

Hi everyone

This forum seems to be a wealth of information for BCM’s etc, and although I haven’t been able to find my specific answer to my question I am sure someone will be able to help

I have here a 2014 VW up with a 1S0937086B BCM. I am not interested in any other retrofits apart from cruise and MFSW on this car. I want the easiest BCM upgrade option, and have found a 1S0936087H bcm which has the MFSW pin present.

Will this BCM be a straight swap with the coding swapped over too, or will some re-pin and wiring changes still be required. If this BCM still requires extra work, is there another 087 BCM that will drop straight in?

Many thanks for taking the time to read

086 and 087 should be pretty much plug and play. just swap over the codings and adaptations and learn keys.

Thank you. Just wanted some reassurance before committing money to the parts
