VW Polo V (MK5 - 2013) has no rear speakers

I bought the model back in 2013 months before the new version came out in 2014. It has bucket seats and some extras but I noticed that there are no rear speakers. I was wondering whether it is easy to put new ones. I am bit of a noob regarding car speakers and audio so I have two questions:

a) Does it need a lot of job and removal to find the connections? Or is it just an easy task where the speakers can directly be connected at the back doors?
b) Does anyone know the requirements for the speakers size and technical details? I would love to buy some good ones and any suggestions (brands and models) is also welcome.

It's a 165mm speaker with 4 mounting points, i.e. by rivet. to either the door or the speaker frame.
you need to run wires from the radio to the back and probably enable the rear speakers in the radio as well. not super difficult if you know your way around.
