I myself don't have any idea on how you would go about it but I did come across this.
As far as I'm aware the 1.4 and 1.2 tsi ea211 are almost identical.

what engine are we talking about? 1.0, 1.2, 1.4 TSI?
Re: Polo ea211 mst turbo elbow
I will try to see if i can get to the bolts. Problem is there is no real space, and alot of things in the way. And seems like everything is more cramped together in the Polo.Bepis wrote: ↑Wed Feb 08, 2023 4:55 pm I myself don't have any idea on how you would go about it but I did come across this.

Socket on extension from the turbo inlet side.
That's how I've seen it done with the ECS inlet. Everything in there is difficult to get to. It is a small car with a small engine bay.
I was hoping at some point to get the ECS item so I've spent some time looking at that area of the engine bay and it isn't going to be a 2 minute job without some grazed knuckles.

Yes, seems like the only place to go in. Not sure they're captive bolts or not, so not sure there's a chance of them dropping or not.
