I am currently working on an engine swap on my Polo 6R 2012. It's going from a crappy CGPB 44kw engine up to the CPTA 103kw engine from the Polo 6R BlueGT. And yes, I know it is a stupid idea and much more work than anticipated, but I am now too far in to change my mind, so this has to work!
Annoyingly, the wiring diagram out of Elsa is an absolute piece of crap: Important parts like the voltage stabilizer or the battery control unit are straight up missing, but those you can at least be adapted from the other engines with start-stop-system.
Worse, the wiring for the start-stop button J693 in the dash is straight up wrong, since not a single 6R has a start stop button with a T10 connector. The 6C CZEA (basically the same engine) wiring isn't helping either since this system seems to be controlled by the BCM instead of the ECU like in the 6R.
Is there someone amongst you who could help me? Maybe someone with a BlueGT could send me a picture of his/her T6 connector (with the wiring colours) at the button? I really don't want to potentially fry my ECU since these are terribly hard to find.
Thanks in advance!
