Adapter 6r to 6c tail lights

Hi could anyone point me in the direction of the part numbers or where to get the plugs to make up this lead, can find hundreds to do it the other way round but not to fit 6r lights to the 6c. I have a set of 6r leds that I want to fit to my 6c (edited)

The picture is for 6R lights in a 6C. I am confused.

So what version tail light is the one with the horizontal plug, I may even be confusing myself, but the picture is the leads I want , I have the smaller horizontal plug on the lights currently on the car and the leds I have have the larger vertical plug on them

Yup As you stated, that’s what I need so the lead is right I just had the r and c the wrong way, thanks

There is no plug and play solution for this, since there is no counter-plug to the OEM 6C tail light plug.
If you want to do it, you could either cut off the old terminals and convert to 6R plugs, or pin out the plugs, put them in a new connector, i.e. 4H0973713E + 1J0973726

Great thanks for advice, would you have part no for the 6r plug at all, struggling to find any, didn’t even have them at a VW breakers today

Thanks iichel, for the reply’s and assistance, in the end I made up some wires with mini spades and got everything working, however that’s thrown up another slight problem in that I’m getting bulb warnings for all the rear lights now .
I understand resistors are needed, although they do have one resistor already installed. But any idea what size resistors I’d need and would I wire one for each light?
There’s sets of 50w 6ohm on eBay for not a lot.
