Regarding installation of front ops 8k kit in polo 6R

Hello All,
I am installing 8k ops kit on my polo 6R. The car was equipped with 4k sensors with buzzer and simple module. I got the 4k to 8k kit with module having part number 7E0 919 475S. I had connected everything but having issues and stuck now as OPS isnt working properly. so need help to figure out whats the actual problem.

After installation the rear camera not working and ops display isnot coming..

looks like your radio is not compatible with your 7E0 OPS unit

iichel, his radio is perfectly compatible with 7E0 8K OPS module. I had same radio with 7E0 8K OPS module before, which worked perfectly.

The problem lies somewhere else.

Thank you for PM and link to my 6R thread. I will reply you here.

The 8K OPS issue in my 6R was due to incorrect CAN connection ( I had connected dash panel CAN lines to OPS module, which I later corrected by connecting to powertrain CAN lines).

Looking at your autoscan posted above, I think you did correct wiring,

but..

I believe here is the problem.

I think you got incorrect 8k OPS module. The SW/HW combination belongs to some other platform and not VW PQ25.

Eg;..This 8k module works on 6R perfectly.

Edit:

Looks like you also did the same mistake like I did. Check your CAN connection to OPS module. Must be connected to Powertrain CAN bus( old isolated CAN lines t32/28,29 of instrument cluster)

Hello, yes the problem was with wrong can connection and it has been solved. Thanks to ciclo sir and patil.

Everything is working perfectly now. I cant change the ops display. It is showing sedan. Pls help .

was your 4K OPS connected to a different can network?

No there was no can wiring provided for 4k from factory. There was only audio feedback with simple module
