Hello,
I was wondering if anyone had access to one of those decoding softwares for the radio security code and could help me get it for the following sn: VWZAZ1K0525361
If not, what is a good decoding website?

Re: Radio unlock code
Maybe someone will correct me if I'm wrong here, but, using these online decoding sources will only work on much older radios, nowadays, the radio and many other components, are "protected" by "CP" which is component protection, that means that one of the main controllers in your car will effectively have a stored list of the security/serial numbers of all components currently fitted into that car, if you then swop a protected component with a "previously used in another car" component, you will get a warning and will need to get a proper VW Group Indie or a VW dealership workshop, to connect your car to VW "mothership", check this second hand component, and only if it has not been listed on the VW mothership system as not being stolen, it will get converted back into being a "virgin" or new component - and so your car will accept it, and VW mothership will update the latest list of components fitted into your car.
I've bought a better used radio for an Audi and got my local VW Group Indie to sort that out for me, it only took them about 30 minutes, so cost 0.5hour tech labour.
